Creative Missions: Join Us to Help Underfunded Churches

Creative Missions: Join Us to Help Underfunded Churches

April 9, 2018 by

We talk about better communication on a daily basis, but that call for better communication is often little help for small, underfunded churches. These are part-time pastors, volunteers, and church plants who don’t have the budgets, skills, or time to invest in communication. They’re trying to share the greatest story ever told, but Sundays come around quickly each week.

We have a solution: Creative Missions.

Creative Missions is motivated by a desire to take what God has generously given us—our lives, talents, skills, and knowledge—and give it all back to him on mission while serving these under-resourced churches by creating sustainable solutions that engage their communities with the gospel.

Please prayerfully consider how you can support our efforts.

Teams of media professionals donate a week of onsite creative help to 10-15 churches and produce videos, websites, logos, printed items, tech solutions, and much more. We’ve covered a lot of ground since our first trip in 2011!

Including this year’s upcoming trip to Calgary, Alberta, Creative Missions has empowered 85 missionaries to serve 110 churches in nine states, and now one province.

This Year’s Trip

Calgary is currently Canada’s fastest growing city. In fact, for the past decade, it has consistently been one of the top 10 fastest growing cities in all of North America. As the number of new churches and established revitalizations increase around Calgary, there’s a newfound spirit of cooperation and unity among churches and denominations to make Jesus known and grow disciples.

Creative Missions is gearing up to craft strategies, build brands, design logos, code websites, shoot videos, print invite cards, and more—all so these Calgary-area churches can effectively share the gospel message.

The Need

Our missionaries pay a trip fee and cover their own travel expenses to the host city, but those fees don’t cover the full cost of each trip. Every year we need an additional $20,000 to make each trip happen. That money helps pay for production costs for the churches we’re serving: printing, materials, resources, equipment, software licenses; as well as local transportation, food, hotels, and more for our team. It’s a critical investment in the kingdom-work of several church plants and ministries.

Last year’s trip to Bozeman, Mont., gave local churches more than $50,000 worth of immediate communications help, and sustainable solutions for years to come.

Help Us Equip Churches

Our God multiplies everything we give back to him–not so that we can get rich, but so that his kingdom can be enriched in every way, and we get to be a part of that. We’re equipping churches to share the greatest story ever told, in their communities, and on to the nations.

We’re grateful God ordered our steps to Calgary so that we might play a small part in equipping a generation of churches in and through Alberta.

We invite you to join us in this effort.
