Easter Effort: Arkansas Egg Drop

What’s your favorite part about celebrating Easter at your church?

One year ago Easter we moved into a new building after a 12-year building program. It’s exciting to see what has happened in the year since we moved and what’s to come.

Share one cool way your church is spreading the word about Easter this year:

We are dropping thousands of eggs filled with candy from a helicopter in our front yard Saturday! The Sunday before Easter we sent out over 200 church members to walk neighborhoods around our church and distribute fliers to 1,300 homes inviting people to The Drop and Easter Sunday services.

How do you keep your focus on the joy of Easter amid the stress of looming deadlines and long hours?

Reading a Holy Week devotional plan; focusing on the fun of preparing for The Drop (stuffing 9,000 eggs!); I volunteer with students and get them involved in preparing for Easter.
