Your financial support is vital as we prepare for our eighth Creative Missions trip to Calgary, Alberta, May 18-25, 2018. Please consider asking God how you might sustain these efforts.
Why Calgary, Alberta?
With much prayer and discussion, there was a clear call for Creative Missions to serve churches outside the U.S. in 2018. Calgary is currently Canada’s fastest growing city. In fact, over the last decade it has been one of the top 10 fastest growing cities in all of North America.
Only 5.2% of Calgary’s 1.5 million residents claim to believe in Jesus Christ. There is only one evangelical church for every 10,000 people, but the number of new churches and established revitalizations are increasing around Calgary. There’s a newfound spirit of cooperation and unity among churches and denominations to make Jesus known and grow disciples.
Canadians do not see themselves as a melting pot, but rather a mosaic, and it shows in their worship and church planting. Pastors from all over the world have been called to God’s mission in Calgary. We’re serving an Arabic-speaking church as well as Hispanic and Filipino church plants.
Storytellers on Mission to Advance the Gospel of Christ
Creative Missions pairs media professionals with under-resourced churches in order to create sustainable solutions that engage their communities with the gospel. These creative missionaries donate a week of on-site creative help to 10-15 churches and produce videos, websites, logos, printed items, tech solutions, and much more. We’ve covered a lot of ground since our first trip in 2011 and rejoice in what God has accomplished through Creative Missions in eight years of ministry.

We are grateful God ordered our steps to Calgary so that we might play a small part in equipping a generation of churches in and through Alberta. Just as you give generously to Creative Missions in response to the gospel, we too invest extravagantly in the churches we serve.
