Church Marketing Directory: Mobile Apps and Church Signs

Church Marketing Directory: Mobile Apps and Church Signs

October 1, 2010 by

Last week we talked about church signs and their efficacy. Almost a year ago we asked if there is an app for your church. Over a year ago, we pointed you to some advice on increasing usability to increase web donations. What do all these have in common?

Companies that specialize in them have been listed in the Church Marketing Directory over the past few weeks. And it’s not a new phenomenon. The Church Marketing Directory has been growing steadily since launch, becoming a go-to resource for churches who are looking to improve their marketing. For example, here are the three companies in question:

  • Halo Merchant Services helps ministries effectively process online payments and event registration.
  • Stewart Church Signs is the largest church sign company in America, endorsed by a growing list of denominational organizations.
  • R04R builds iPhone and Android applications for churches.

The moral of the story is, when you read about something on Church Marketing Sucks or another church communication blog, you should check out the directory to see if there’s an organization that can help your church implement your new idea. There most likely is.

And if you know a resource for churches, it will only take a few minutes to suggest a link. From there, we’ll do the rest and make sure it gets listed as a resource for churches!

Thanks for including R04R in this post. We appreciate it. We love helping churches get an iPhone or Android app.

Here’s a Halloween church sign that will crack you up… it’s actually the building we rent for our services. My wife and I laughed and laughed.

Notice any possible confusion with one of the words?
