Office Hours: Surveys & Your Own Office Hours

September 5, 2012 by

Every week I hold online office hours and answer questions from folks like you. This week we’ve got a question about marketing budgets and bulletin advertising. Take a look and be sure to join me every Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. CDT for online office hours!

Do you know of a survey of church-goers that gives insight on how they prefer to get their info—email, text, print, etc.?

My Response:

Yes, in fact. There’s a survey that measures those data points happening right now. It’s called the “Web Usage & Digital Communication Survey” and you need to apply to be a part of it. My Response:

Most of all, be willing to experiment. I’ve used Formspring, Google+, live streaming services like and Twitter chats. For what it’s worth, I’m still looking for the perfect solution!

Thanks for the great questions everybody! Hopefully this information will help you get from where you are to where you want to go. See you next time in the office!
