Here at Church Marketing Sucks we love books. We review them, write them, interview authors and just love a good church communication read. We’re taking our fandom one step further and starting a Church Marketing Sucks book club!
Each month (or so) we’ll pick a book to read and ask you to join us. We’ll post discussion questions and host some conversations in the Church Marketing Lab and on our Facebook page. At the end of the month we’ll collect the best responses and discussions and compile them into a book club review.
It’s an opportunity to read a good book with our friends, have great discussions and share the fruit of the conversation.
I can’t think of a better book to kick off this club than with Outspoken: Conversations on Church Communication. It features a who’s who of church communicators and is an excellent introductory resource. Outspoken just came out yesterday and is available on Kindle or in print. The discussion questions are available here and we want to receive all responses by Oct. 20. That should give you plenty of time to order the book and dive in.
Please join us! Read the book. Share your thoughts.
