Depression isn’t exactly a popular topic in the church. But people are struggling with depression in the church, whether we want to talk about it or not. In a recent Innovate 4 Jesus video, our own editor Kevin D. Hendricks and social media guru Adam Legg joined David Murray and Justin Blaney to talk about depression in the church:
“Just spent an hour talking about depression in the church… my takeaway: You are not alone.” -Kevin D. Hendricks
“If you’re in any position of leadership, people are watching your lives. Share the valleys, not just the mountaintops.” -Adam Legg
“There’s a huge need for pastors to model rest, recreation and healthy space in their lives.” -Dr. David Murray
