Church Marketing Lab: Improving Your Designs

Church Marketing Lab: Improving Your Designs

July 23, 2013 by

There have been some fantastic compositions posted recently in the Church Marketing Lab. If you haven’t been there lately, you’re really missing out. You can get inspiration, post designs for feedback and give others ideas on their work.

One of the things I really enjoy is seeing someone post an original work, receiving feedback on it, then posting a revision that improves on the original. Here is the story of how that happened recently.

User alicia*m originally posted this as an inspiration for her upcoming communications elements for a baptism service:

Fun Baptism graphic

Then she posted this version:

I Am Not Ashamed 2013

Finally, she posted this redesign:

IANA 2013 Final

This is a great example of how just a few pieces of feedback can help in creating an amazing finished piece. The best news? You could be the key to helping someone put the pieces together for a design. Be sure to jump over to the Lab and add your voice!
