There are lots of great events on our calendar for church communicators and creative types coming up this summer and fall. The best part is that alongside three events the Center for Church Communication (CFCC) has three meetups coming up. CFCC Meetups are a wonderful opportunity to get to know the CFCC team and connect with other church communicators. The meetups are held at various conferences and events that you’re probably already attending.The meetups are marked below but if you want to find out more about future meetups join the CFCC Meetup group on Meetup.com.

Communication folks in the Houston area: gather with other church comm folks at two upcoming events hosted by the Houston Church Communication Coalition (H3C).
On Tue, Jun 28, we welcome Gordon Pennington to our H3C Summit. Gordon once served as the director of marketing for Tommy Hilfiger and has great insight on getting the church’s message out in today’s culture. Then, on Fri, Oct 7, we’re hosting a one-day workshop with Kem Meyer, author of “Less Clutter. Less Noise.”

There is a church on every corner and then some in Tulsa, OK. I’d love to see a meet-up group or other educational/informational conference in Tulsa.
