I know what you’re thinking. Conference shmomference, or something along those lines. But let’s lead with a sample of the speaker list:
- Jason Fried—founder of 37Signals
- Princess Zulu—AIDS victim and justice advocate
- Charlie Todd—creator of Improv Everywhere
- Shauna Neiquist—former Mars Hill creative director
- Leonard Sweet—renowned author and professor
Excited yet? I haven’t even mentioned the creator of the TV show Home Improvement (Tool Time!), a member of the band Evanescence and the president of The Mentoring Project.
Story is a conference for the creative class that aims to fuel the church’s artists, writers and producers in communicating the greatest story ever told. Conversations will be had here that shape the way the church communicates for years to come. It’s Sept. 23-24 at Park Community Church in Chicago.
We just wanted to drop this little word in your ear so you can register before the July 16th early-bird cutoff. Story is a conference you don’t want to miss.

I want more info about this. I really don’t understand what this Story conference is about. Everyone says the names are big, but, what are they going to talk about? I am an IT guy, would I learn anything from this conference?
